A bit pricey. Food is plentiful on the plates, could reduce that a bit to save costs & reduce prices to customers. Food is "hit & miss" with taste, proper cooking, or correct order. Menu items not always available or no longer served. Hours and Sunday Smorg are out of date. Really not happy about the extra charge to use debit or credit card on POS machine! Would like to see the waitresses have a dress code - hair tied back, not wearing jeans & t-shirts, especially don't like no-sleeve shirts where underarms are exposed to my food . Didn't appreciate that waitress was vacuuming while people are eating or even just visiting (pretty sure that's a health violation). Bathrooms are absolutely dysfunctional & not really clean.
Although this is a fairly typical roadside diner, the food and service were very good! It is a little difficult to access, as it is on a dirt road and lot, off the highway. However, you can tell it is good from the number of vehicles outside, and the number of patrons inside. I tried the clubhouse sandwich, which was huge, fresh and delivered quickly. For a place in the middle of nowhere, it delivers quality! Definitely go again.
Very good meal! Had the pork chops /mushroom sauce and the chops were done to perfection! Good sized serving and wait staff was very amusing and courteous.. Will definitely be back! Only drawback was public washroom.. Could use some TLC..
DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO END UP IN HOSPITAL I stopped at this place for dinner and I have ordered fried chicken which comes with choice of potatoe vegetables and soup of the day or salad. I have chosen soup. Soup of the day was Italian wedding. Shortly after I placed an order I was served with soup and I have begun eating it. In just 2 seconds I felt something strange in my mouth that doesn't belong to soup. I fished it out of my mouth and what I saw made me stunned. I fished out a piece of aluminum can shaving. I almost ate it. If I have swallowed it I would have end up in a hospital with internal bleeding which could lead to death. So I have shown that piece of metal to a server and she said she will take it to the boss. After she came back she said it's not a piece of can but scrape from the pot. ( like I'm stupid and I can't tell the difference). I said it's a piece of aluminum can because the soup they serve it's Cambell's Italian wedding soup. ( I know exactly it was because I used to buy those from Superstore or Walmart and it looked and tasted like it too. What is the chance that you can cook soup like this exactly like Cambell's ? I think very slim.) So I knew the server is lying to me. At the end they offered me discount of $2 of my total bill. So I thought to myself, so my life is worth to them only $2? Wow I was stunt. Conclusion, DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO END UP IN HOSPITAL.
