The hotel is fair. The rooms were mostly clean and there's a pub in the hotel. Not very touristy region. You'll have a good time with the locals.
New ownership. Changes are underfoot. Pizzas rock. I would recommend trying them out. The Hotel rooms are about double the size of St. Michaels and surrounding area. Easy to relax when it is all under one roof.
As a fellow operator in the industry, I can say that this location is one of Rycroft's best kept secrets.This hotel is located right across from the POST OFFICE, and right next to the COOP grocery store. The hotel is conveniently located in a place where you do not have to drive for anything you will need, while staying in that particular town.The room was affordable, spacious and clean.The liquor store, pub, VLT's and restaurant make for convenient additions to the building, and come with a casual atmosphere generated by the friendly locals.The staff are accommodating and friendly.
Superb staff rooms are outdated but there clean. The place is over priced. Is what it is
Noones listening, the power tripping staff, is more important than the paying customer. I sure miss Cecil ... and the hope he brought, and the interest and excitement, to turn that place into something great. To the Staff: Assemble a TEAM people, a GOOD TEAM .. Turn that place around, and bring 'em in by the droves!!!! Make it a great place to eat, drink and stay !!! Do it for our Community!!!
